There's a huge smile on my lips and a twinkle in my eyes that refuses to fade away..And all that because of meeting a long-lost friend..!
A few days ago I met my school buddy -- my partner in crime in all those endless pranks and full-on masti moments , heart to heart chats..even the bitter arguments..every little bit resurfaced..and reliving those memories was such an awesome feeling...
This set me thinking that if one meeting with an old friend could have such a positive effect on my mood , there would be similar moments in my life that could make me instantly smile...Moments to which I dont pay much attention...So here is a list that i came up with---
#Animals- Feeding stray dogs and cats gives me a high..I love dogs..I had 2 pet dogs and a kitten as pets at the same time..The great feeling that you get by just holding them is priceless.The moment my pet dogs lick my face , I just love that..!!
If God truly sends Angels to look after us , He definitely sends them as dogs..!!<3
#Watching my parents dance to their favourite music..So what if theirs is an arranged marriage..they just love each other..and keep my faith in love going..!!
#An all night chat session with my girls and bestest guy friends..exchanging secrets and a little bit of bitching (lol) makes me happy..and yeah sharing all my secrets with my bro also gives me a high..!!
#That amazing feeling inside that you get when someone calls you gorgeous or beautiful..being called hot never has the same effect(I m sure all girls agree on that)
#Playing my favorite music loudly and dancing alone all over the house..:p
#Staying alone at home when parents are out of station..I call up my cousins and we have rollicking time together..:D
#Being asked out for the first time by the guy you have been crushing on for a long time...great feeling...WHOOPPPEEEEE(more on this some other day)
#My list can never be complete without mentioning the most important thing--SHOPPING....YIPPPEEE... the feeling when I go out with my gang of girls..the noise , the girly giggles , the incessant trying on of clothes is high on my happiness list..!!
#Our mother-daughter chat sessions..especially when my mom is cooking and I am literally dying to dip my finger in whatever she is making..I end up feeding some stray dogs too :p
#Marathon movie watching days--DDLJ, 3 IDIOTS ,DIL TOH PAAGAL HAI , HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS.., LOVE ACTUALLY , TITANIC.....and the list is endless...
#Text messaging-- getting up in the morning to see some unread texts...!
#Hearing "I LOVE YOU" ;)
#Walking in the rain , BAREFOOT...I love nature..!!
